Actress Rachel Wilde spent three months in an American prison for hitting a woman with a glass in a nightclub, it has been revealed today.
The EastEnders star, who plays Nikki Spraggan in the BBC soap, was working as an au pair in the states at the time.
The star, real name Rachel Wilson, was in a bar with friends when a fight broke out.
Ms Wilson, who was 18 at the time, then attempted to break up the fight but in frustration she threw a glass - which hit a woman.
She was arrested and put in prison following a trial.
Producers and actors at EastEnders know about the incident.
According to friends the East Londoner has worked hard to put the ordeal past her.
She went to The Poor School acting academy, graduating two years ago.
Her role as Nikki Spraggan was her first proper acting role and she only joined the cast in December 2013.
Speaking to The Mirror, Ms WIlson's mother Susan Wilson said: 'They know all about it at EastEnders. She has had to tell them.
'Rachel didn’t actually glass the girl. She was trying to stop a fight and then she got annoyed and threw the glass but it hit somebody.
'It was so tough for me as she was only 18. She had to go to court and was in jail for three months.
'I tried to help and get her out of it. It was a tough time but she’s a girl done good now and on EastEnders.

three prime suspects for abduction of Madeleine McCann following analysis of mobile phone data

Three prime suspects for the abduction of Madeleine McCann have been identified by Scotland Yard officers.

  • Data suggests a burglary gang was operating near time of disappearance
  • Suspects made an 'unusually high' number of calls hours after Maddie was reported missing
  • Police believe thieves carried out one raid in resort, disturbing a child
  • Portuguese police attached no significance to the break-in days before
  • British detectives described oversight as a 'disgrace'
  • 'Main line of inquiry' suggests burglars panicked and kidnapped Maddie

  • Analysis of mobile phone data suggests a burglary gang was operating very near to where she vanished in Portugal in May 2007.
The three men made an unusually high number of calls to each other in the hours after Madeleine was reported missing from her holiday flat in the Algarve.
Police believe the thieves, including at least one Portuguese man, had already carried out one raid in the resort of Praia da Luz, disturbing a child.
That child’s parents, who had been drinking outside the property, rushed inside to find the intruders had fled.
During their bungled investigation Portuguese police attached no significance to the break-in, which came a few days before Madeleine disappeared.
British detectives said this oversight was a ‘disgrace’.
Following the Yard phone breakthrough, informal discussions have taken place about arresting the three burglars and searching their homes and other sites.
It is believed background checks have taken place into their criminal history, their circle of friends and relatives and the vehicles they have used.
British detectives believe the burglars may have panicked after they woke Madeleine up by mistake and decided to take her away with them.

An informed source said: ‘After all the far-fetched theories about what may have happened to Madeleine, there may be a far more simple explanation: that a burglary went horribly wrong.
'It is the main line of inquiry for British police.’

Neighbours said Miss Osei’s four-year-old-son Kai was staying with relatives at the time of the tragedy, which happened early yesterday.
Investigators are treating her death as ‘unexplained’, but it is understood their main line of inquiry is that her injuries may have been self-inflicted.
Last night, her heartbroken father Jonathan Osei, 48, said he could not understand what had happened.
‘Rachel was at university training to be a sports teacher,’ he said. ‘She wanted to do well and provide for her son. When I heard about the fire I tried to call her on her mobile phone but there was no answer. I tried to protect her but I could not.
‘I loved Rachel, she was a lovely, lovely daughter. I named her after my mother. I had four children but now I have only three.’
The tragedy took place outside Miss Osei’s semi-detached home in New Malden, South-West London.

2013 camaro ss 0-60, both the SS and 1LE equipped with manual transmissions

2013 camaro ss 0-60 The 1LE exceeds its status as an option package in that it truly changes the character of the SS—and we’re not talking about the matte-black hood. (It’s a wrap, and it looks unfinished.) The difference becomes apparent when you throw the Camaro 1LE into a corner. Where the SS understeers, the 1LE darts toward apexes. The Camaro still feels like a behemoth—that problem is deeply rooted in its squinty greenhouse and a curb weight we estimate at 3900 pounds—but the newfound eagerness scrubs away its greatest dynamic flaw. The electronic power-steering system (standard on all SS models and shared with the ZL1) is a fine representative of the breed, with a progressive weighting and natural feel. The 1LE doesn’t represent as comprehensive a revision as does its direct competitor, the Boss 302, but neither is it quite as expensive.
For 2013 2013 camaro ss 0-60, both the SS and 1LE equipped with manual transmissions offer a dual-mode exhaust system like that on the ZL1, where baffles open under increased load. The car we drove had it, and we wouldn’t recommend any Camaro owner try to live without it. For such a dramatically shaped vehicle, the SS sounds kind of wimpy. This exhaust gives the car more of the tympanic-membrane-shredding roar that makes the Corvette such an aural treat.

2013 camaro ss 0-60 see review here it still seems as though the designation had been plucked from an alphanumeric bingo bucket, 1LE has new significance for 2013 as an option package for manual-transmission Camaro SS models. It brings a host of upgrades ported from or inspired by the mighty ZL1. The pieces that make the most difference fall into the latter category, however, including the front anti-roll-bar mounting setup, 10-by-20-inch front wheels and 11-by-20-inch rears, and beefier half-shafts. The equipment pilfered directly from the ZL1 includes wheel bearings, toe links, rear shock mounts, the fuel pump, the flat-bottom steering wheel, the short-throw six-speed manual and its transmission cooler, and 285/35-20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G: 2 tires all around (the ZL1 gets 305/35-20 rubber at the rear). The beefy wheel-and-tire combo actually saves a total of 22 pounds of unsprung weight.

2013 camaro ss 0-60 The 1LE package also comes with a shorter final-drive ratio of 3.91:1 versus the 3.45:1 rear end in the SS and adds monotube rear dampers—instead of the SS’s twin tubes—and a strut-tower brace. As for externals, Chevy engineers tell us that even though the 1LE’s splitter increases downforce in the front, the wider wheels generate enough lift to bring the 1LE right back in line with the SS. Out back, the SS’s lip spoiler carries over to 1LE cars.
