Drunk waitress getting caught having sex outside Waffle House

Rachel Gossett, 25, and Frank Lucas, 27, were arrested November 3 and cited for public drunkenness and loitering after the pair were busted having sexual intercourse in a pickup truck outside a Loganville Waffle House.
According to a police report, Gossett was so inebriated that she stuck her foot inside a cheeseburger, thinking it was her sandal.

The 25-year-old woman had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit, while her partner in crime was only slightly more sober. The star-crossed lovers are due back in court January 16.
According to the incident report cited by The Smoking Gun, Loganville police officers arrived at the fast food eatery at 4752 Atlanta Highway at around 1.30am last Sunday after getting a call about a couple engaged in amorous activities in the parking lot.

 

The responding officers approached a Dodge pickup truck, where they spotted a pantless Gossett sitting astride Lucas in the driver's seat.
The officers ordered the couple to get dressed and take out their driver's licenses. The incident report noted that the inside of the truck reeked of alcohol.

Lucas then pulled his pants back on, but Gossett need repeated prompting from the cops as she sat impassively in the passenger seat.

A 31-year-old man is recovering in hospital after accidentally blowing away the bottom part of his face as he visited friends in Maine on Wednesday.
Dale Poulin, of Waterville, was drinking whiskey and sharing hunting stories with friends when the high-powered rifle he had resting under his chin went off.
The force of the bullet tore off his entire face from below the nose and scattered bone and flesh across the floor, according to police who said Mr Poulin was still conscious when they arrived. 
According to police Mr Poulin had arrived at his friends' apartment with a bottle of whiskey and later went outside to retrieve his .270-caliber rifle from his pick up truck, thinking it was unloaded.
Mr Poulin was found in a pool of blood. His chin was on the floor and blood, teeth and skin were everywhere according to Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey.
'It’s one of those things where you mix alcohol and weapons and start to do very unsafe things, and you end up with a tragedy,' Chief Massey told the Bangor Daily News.

 

The 31-year-old's friends tried to staunch the mass of blood flowing from Mr Poulin's head and he was still responsive when police spoke to him in the apartment.
'It was a very chaotic scene to go to, with people outside screaming,' Chief Massey said.

He added that the residents of the apartment were known to police but said no foul play was suspected.
Mr Poulin was still sat in a chair in the home when police arrived, and had the rifle between his knees.
There was a bullet hole through the cap he was wearing. After shooting through his jaw and hat, the bullet traveled through the ceiling and into an attic space.
'It was one of those cases which clearly involved carelessness, passing a rifle around, and no one made sure, obviously, it was not loaded,' Chief Massey said.
'Then they do something as careless as putting the rifle under their chin and pulling the trigger.'

Chris Matthews, the host of MSNBC's hardball is the latest to shame the governor's weight.
At an event for Philadelphia magazine last night, he interrupted the moderator's question to insert a joke about Christie's figure, even dragging the governor's wife into the politically incorrect commentary.

now 235mph Typhoon Haiyan is heading for mainland Asia

One of the most powerful storms on record, Typhoon Haiyan, has killed more than 100 people and left many more injured, it has been reported today.
About four million people are believed to have been affected by the category five storm, according to the country's national disaster agency. This figure includes 800,000 people who had to be evacuated before the storm struck.
Winds of up to 235mph and gusts of 170mph left a trail of destruction - triggering major landslides, knocking out power and communications and causing catastrophic widespread damage. Hundreds of homes have been flattened and scores of streets flooded.
The UK has sent a team of three experts to the country today to assess the extent of the damage, after which the Government will decide upon its response, a spokesman for the Department for International Development (Dfid) said.

The category-5 super typhoon Haiyan – Chinese for ‘sea bird’ – smashed into the eastern islands of the Philippines with winds nearly 150mph stronger than the St Jude storm which struck the UK in late October.
Roofs were ripped from houses, ferocious 20ft waves washed away coastal villages, power lines came down and trees were uprooted.
Capt. John Andrews, deputy director general of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, said he had received 'reliable information' by radio that more than 100 bodies were lying in the streets of Tacloban on hardest-hit Leyte Island.
Regional military commander Lt. Gen. Roy Deveraturda said that the casualty figure 'probably will increase' after viewing aerial photographs of the widespread devastation caused by the typhoon.
Cabinet Secretary Rene Almendras, a senior aide to President Benigno Aquino III, said that the number of casualties could not be immediately determined, but that the figure was 'probably in that range' given by Andrews. Government troops were helping recover bodies, he said.

Put the charger on it and behold, it started only to die again the following day. Had a jump start to get mr to the nearest auto repair shop. Tire Choice. they found that the battery was bad. This was confirmed by the AutoZone guy next door.
The new battery was $175. Also a terminal was badly corroded, not sure where? Another $50 I was there almost three hours while it was fixed and came away with a bill for $375. Labor and parts.  Now I am gun shy with this vehicle. When I asked how I could maintain the terminals, I was told, no can do as I would have to remove so much equipment before I could even see the battery. What I had come to believe was a reliable stylish and practical vehicle has been sorely challenged.

Ban Bulldog game say parents of girl in school tragedy

The parents of a schoolgirl who died when she was knocked over in her school playground have called for a nationwide ban on the game of British bulldogs.
Freya James, aged eight, was hurt when a pupil hurled into her playing the rough, tag-based game in her playground.
She fell onto an ornamental feature made from a railway sleeper.

Despite her serious stomach injury, staff at her primary school then made her walk up to six metres to a first aid room, it is claimed.
Freya, who had a ruptured liver, was rushed to hospital after the lunchtime incident in February.
She died two hours later without her family having the chance to say goodbye.
Yesterday her parents Nick and Anekke James, from Twickenham, Middlesex, blamed the fast-moving playground game for her death.


Mr James, 42, said : ‘I hope our daughter’s death will lead to a more widespread ban.’
The businessman, who runs a cabinet making firm, described their daughter as ‘an Angel loved by everybody’ in the days after her death.
Yesterday he said: ‘When you go through the sequence of events, you’ve got a boy running at high speed in a crowded playground and you’ve got a wooden sleeper serving no purpose.
‘Freya was also made to walk five or six metres to a first aid room - despite holding her abdomen when teachers found her on the ground.
‘We need to know if that caused more serious damage. There are a lot of questions that need answering.’
The family claim that staff at Trafalgar Junior School in Twickenham never apologised nor accepted responsibility.
In a statement in February, the family said: ‘She was a bundle of energy from the time she woke up to the time she went to bed. She was so strong and determined in everything she did and always tried to help those that struggled.

‘We understand they feel angry and need answers and the inquest will hopefully give them those.
‘Ahead of the hearing, it would be inappropriate to comment further.’
Headmaster Neil Meehan said after the accident: ‘Our thoughts are with the parents and family of the pupil during this very sad time and we are working with educational psychologists to support pupils and staff at the school as necessary.’
Other primary schools have already banned children from playing rough playground games.
In March this year Queensbridge Primary School in Hackney, east London, came under criticism from parents for banning children from playing tag, because the game was ‘too rough’.
Lionel Hives, a father with children at the school, said at the time:‘All the evidence suggests exercise in the playground is an important part of children’s ability to focus on schoolwork for the rest of the day. We should be encouraging exercise, not curtailing it.’
Headteacher Sarah Bailey insisted the ban was needed because children ‘played it too roughly’.
In 2009 Wood End primary school in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, were banned from playing football in the playground.
The school told them: ‘Unfortunately, several pupils have been hit in the face by a football.
