Toyota Release Toyota Supra 2015 Price

New toyota supra 2015 price

toyota supra 2015 might not actually be called “Supra”

And that’s going to be rather disheartening for a lot of people to hear. As the Gen-Y car-buying market begins to bloom, many are looking for familiar nameplates. It brings back a sense of nostalgia, a sense of what was once great. As of now, Toyota tells us that the Supra moniker is only but a “candidate” in a long list of possible names for the new sportscar.
we will soon be able to drive around in a Supra again and soon know toyota supra 2015 price see here for supra 2015 price .

toyota supra 2015 It’s going to be hybrid

Strike two, for many Supra faithful. The 2JZ (twin-turbo, inline-six) engine was well-loved for its ability to churn out massive amounts of aftermarket power. But as with many hybrid powertrains we see today, many shops tend to stay out of harms way, as working on such a vehicle gets overly complicated and expensive.
Emission standards are hitting automakers hard, and as Toyota sits at the forefront of hybrid research, we don’t doubt the Supra will be the automaker’s next pet project in a line of high-performance, fuel-efficienct sportscars.

toyota supra 2015 is going to be powerful

Finally, some good news. Yes, it’s going to be about as powerful as many of the other competing supercars hitting the market at the time (GT-R, R8, Evo XI, etc.). 500-hp, or more, is predicted to come from under the hood.

toyota supra 2015 will going to be rear-wheel drive

A breath of fresh air for many worried as to the softening of the Supra. It will remain rear-drive, as confirmed by GT 86 chief engineer Tetsuya Tada. Previous rumors suggested that all-wheel-drive would be in play, but Toyota is sticking to its guns (somewhat) and keeping the buyer in mind.

toyota supra 2015 might not come with a manual

But then again, neither will most high-performance sportscars succumbing to the hybrid era. Sigh

honda s2000 0-60 acceleration times

honda s2000 0-60 put down a 13.3@108. Where it really shines is the 100-130. That is the real intent of our cars, not a quarter mile from a dig, but 100-130 coming out of a sweeper on a track.

Chief among these are changes to the engine to make the S2000 more flexible at low- and midrange revs without dulling the tumultuous rush at motorcycle-engine speeds that is this car’s trademark. Honda did this by increasing the stroke by 6.7 millimeters, thereby bumping displacement from 1997 to 2157cc.
Both VTEC cam profiles honda s2000 0-60  were reconfigured, the compression ratio was raised a 10th (to 11.1:1), and the redline was dropped from a strident 8900 rpm to a merely maniacal 8000 rpm. The redline illuminates as a shifter light on the tidy new instrument cluster and then allows another 200 rpm before shutting off the fun.
The result is the same peak output of 240 horsepower, but developed now at 7800 rpm instead of 8300 rpm, and a stronger torque supply that starts and peaks earlier, with 162 pound-feet at 6500 rpm instead of 153 at 7500. Sure, the longer stroke dictated the lower redline, but piston speeds are actually lower in the new car at redline than in the old one. The ’03′s pistons whiz at 4906 feet per minute at 8900 rpm, whereas the ’04′s slugs rip along at just 4761 feet per minute at 8000 rpm.
With the same horsepower, the ’04 honda s2000 0-60 mph runs similar 0-to-60-mph and quarter-mile times but aces the ’03 model in the 30-to-50-mph and 50-to-70-mph top-gear passes, running 8.8 seconds versus 9.9 and 7.9 seconds versus 9.4, respectively. That’s quite remarkable, particularly since sixth gear in the new S2000 is actually now two percent higher. (First through fourth are four percent lower, for better acceleration, with fifth just one percent lower.)
see other honda s2000 0-60 run time bellow
2000 Honda S2000   0-60 mph 5.7   Quarter mile 14.0
2001 Mugen Honda S2000   0-60 mph 5.3
2003 Honda S2000   0-60 mph 6.2   Quarter mile 14.7
2004 Honda S2000   0-60 mph 5.7   Quarter mile 14.0
2006 Honda S2000   0-60 mph 5.4   Quarter mile 13.8
2008 Honda S2000 CR   0-60 mph 5.6   Quarter mile 14.2
2009 Honda S2000 Edition 100   0-60 mph 6.1
Along with the gearing revisions is a change to carbon-composite synchronizers, allowing the use of double-cone rings where there were triples, and singles where there were doubles, lightening engagements and smoothing the whole process. It was a pretty magnificent gearbox before, so you can imagine how slick it is now. Think snick-snick with a dab of Vaseline. see full review of honda s2000 0-60 here

audi q7 2014 release date and performance

For the audi q7 2014 release date this Year, Q7 drivers will once again have the option of two gasoline supercharged V6 engine variants, or the fuel-efficient yet powerful V6 turbocharged direct injection TDI® clean diesel engine. Each comes equipped with an eight-speed Tiptronic® transmission that not only produces a sporty and smooth ride, but also improves fuel economy, responsiveness and overall driving comfort. The legendary Audi quattro® all-wheel drive for superior traction and handling is standard on all models.
The 3.0 liter TDI clean diesel engine, revised for the 2013 Model Year, delivers an impressive 406 lb-ft of torque and generates 240 hp. Achieving 28 mpg in highway driving, the Q7 TDI produces 20 percent fewer CO2 emissions than a comparable gasoline engine and meets or exceeds 50 state emissions requirements The 3.0 TFSI® engine produces either 280 hp or an increased horsepower of 333 for the higher output 3.0T S line.
The standard front double-wishbone independent steel spring suspension and available adaptive air suspension – an electronically controlled air suspension system at all four wheels with a continuously adaptive damping system – unite sporty handling with a high level of ride comfort. Additionally, the air suspension improves aerodynamics and allows for speed dependent lowering of the body, a change in ride height that results in a low center of gravity and significantly increased directional stability.
