She sadly announced the end of her three-year marriage to actor Orlando Bloom late on Thursday evening.
But Miranda Kerr didn't appear to have a care in the world as she enjoyed a solo night out minus her wedding ring just 24 hours before formally revealing news of the power couple's split to the world.
The 30-year-old supermodel appeared happy and relaxed as she attended the 2013 CFDA and Vogue Fashion Fund dinner at Bouchon in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

And while the former Victoria's Secret Angel was still sporting her dazzling engagement ring, her wedding band was nowhere to be seen as she mingled with the great and good of the fashion world.
In fact, just mere hours before a representative for Pirates Of The Caribbean star Bloom confirmed the couple's break-up to E! News, Miranda was busy posting 'selfies' onto her Instagram page.
Pouting into a mirror as she applied lipstick, the Australian beauty looked a million miles away from the image you would expect to see of a woman who had just announced a split from her partner of six years.

Miranda's solo night out comes amid claims the stresses of the last year had contributed to the couple's split.
While Kent-born actor Bloom has remained largely under the radar for much of 2013, most recently starring in a Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet, Miranda's star has very much been in the ascendance.
However, the model's soaring fame hasn't come without its problems, with the bedimpled beauty failing to renew long-standing contracts with Australian department store, David Jones, and lingerie brand Victoria's Secret.
A report in Australian newspaper, The Herald Sun, claimed negotiations to renew Miranda's five-year deal with David Jones fell through because of her 'diva-like demands'.
And just weeks later, the mother-of-one's $1million contract with Victoria's Secret was terminated amid claims she had become 'difficult' to work with and didn't sell as well as fellow Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel.
Unusual choice: Just hours before the couple's
break-up was confirmed, Miranda was, somewhat bizarrely, busy posting
'selfies' onto her Instagram page
A source told People magazine at the time: 'She can be difficult at shoots and appearances. She's not very timely. She's standoffish with the rest of the girls.'
However, Miranda's representative, Annie Kelly, who she hired earlier this year, was quick to shoot down the claims, stating: 'She was unable to commit to a full contract so will work with them [Victoria's Secret] on a case-by-case basis.
'They've invited her to walk in the show again this year and she's also on the cover of their latest catalogue. She is the current global face of Mango and has ongoing associations with Qantas, Clear Hair Therapy, Samantha Thavasa, and is the face of Kids Helpline.'
In happier times: A representative for Orlando
Bloom confirmed on Thursday night that the couple had called time on
their three-year marriage and six-year relationship
Elsewhere, Miranda quit her long-time modelling agency, Chic, to sign on with worldwide super-brand IMG Models in July 2012, while switching PR management from close friend Carlii Lyon to Kelly soon after.
And the star's mother, Therese Kerr, stepped down as general manager and chief executive officer of Mirand's company, Kora Organics, earlier this year, sparking rumours that relations between the pair had become strained.
A representative for Bloom confirmed the couple's split to E! News on Thursday, saying in a statement: 'Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months.
Taking things in his stride: Orlando was last seen out and about in New York City with the couple's son, Flynn, on October 17

After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.'
The couple began dating in late 2007 before tying the knot three years later and welcoming their son Flynn into the world in January 2011.
Miranda and Orlando were last pictured together at the beginning of October, while their final public appearance together was at the opening night of Bloom's Broadway production of Romeo And Juliet on September 19.
Despite already being separated for some months, Miranda gushed about her husband's performance to the November issue of Cosmopolitan.
Rocking the runway: Miranda terminated her long-standing contract with lingerie brand Victoria's Secret earlier this year
Hello, boys! Although she was yet to announce it
to the world, Miranda was single when she stepped out in Paris for
Fashion Week last month
'When I saw Orlando on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, I was blown away,' she said.
'For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week - I have so much respect for him. We don't run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk.'
Cracks in the couple's marriage first began to show in December 2012 after Miranda was forced to deny reports of a growing closeness to actor Leonardo DiCaprio after the pair were seen partying together in New York City.
Miranda boogied the night away at Leo's birthday on November 10, then the pair enjoyed a dinner with friends on the 21st, before they were joined by Cameron Diaz at a club opening on the 30th.
Love on the mind: The bedimpled beauty posted a

in a bikini
But her camp strenuously denied the claims at the time, with a source close to the couple saying: 'Orlando and Leo are friends; Miranda and Leo are just friends. There is absolutely nothing going on with Leo. They have been very good friends for a very long time.'
Miranda then denied rumours of an impending split in January, telling the Today show: 'We're wonderful. He's such an amazing partner, an amazing father and we're just really lucky.
'We do the best that we can with both of our schedules and we're really lucky to have each other. As long as [Orlando and I] know the truth, that's all that matters.'

Around this time, Miranda was, somewhat bizarrely, linked to teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, 19, in numerous internet forums
Orlando's mum Sonia Copeland Bloom also explained claims of a split 'couldn't be further from the truth': 'We've just had some lovely, quiet, pre-Christmas family time together in Kent. They both have hugely busy careers, but, as a close family, they always do all they can to be together.'
Earlier this month, Orlando put his Hollywood Hills home - which was once targeted by the Bling Ring - up for sale. Since the infamous incident in 2009, the actor had been renting out the sprawling 3,248 square foot property situated in the desirable Hollywood Hills for a tidy $16,500 per month.

The couple's busy work schedules could also have played a hand in the demise of their marriage.
Bloom filmed movie, Zulu, on location in South Africa last year and also flew to New Zealand to film additional scenes for The Hobbit on location from May to July.
Miranda often travels to Europe and Australia for work and walks in runway shows for Versace and Christian Dior.
In September, she was in Paris for Fashion Week, where she modelled for the likes of Stella McCartney and Chanel, and has just completed a new campaign for Swarovski.
