The standard front double-wishbone independent steel spring suspension and available adaptive air suspension – an electronically controlled air suspension system at all four wheels with a continuously adaptive damping system – unite sporty handling with a high level of ride comfort. Additionally, the air suspension improves aerodynamics and allows for speed dependent lowering of the body, a change in ride height that results in a low center of gravity and significantly increased directional stability.

A 20-inch package is also available for Premium plus models. The S line plus package gives the Q7 a more performance-oriented look with a gloss black grille, matte black window surround, black roofrails and 21 inch Titanium wheels.
